With its numerous outside culinary influences, authentic Thai food combines flavors and ingredients in a way that gives it a distinct, unforgettable personality all its own.

Gunnar and Pranee Sjobeck developed the concept for Tasty Thai 6 years ago because of their love of Thai food and their interest in franchising. After witnessing the growing success of Asian cuisine in Europe and North America and the emerging trend toward healthy fast food, they realized that Thai food perfectly matched these converging trends. Thai food enjoys tremendous popularity worldwide, even without an international Thai brand, so they created Tasty Thai to fill this void.

Gunnar and Pranee both come from a restaurant and cooking background and have spent the better part of 6 years developing the concept and the menu.

The remaining directors joined the company with significant experience in business, franchising and marketing. All of the members of the management team have lived and worked in Thailand for over 10 years and have enjoyed tremendous success as business owners and entrepreneurs.
